One Foot in Front of the Other

 

 Put one foot in front of the other

As you move on down life's path

Following Jesus all the while

And one day you will hear said

"Welcome home, my child."

And that is why you will hear me say

"Don't praise me for my inspirational prose or poetry

Instead, realize that you see naught but the glory

Of GOD shining through me.

Don't get me wrong; I appreciate the compliment

For what you look upon as my accomplishments

But, once again, all from this vessel of clay that you see

Is because of the glory of GOD

That HE is allowing to shine through me.©
