Disappointment Handed to Me

I believe in JESUS and

Trust in what HE said

That when HE comes back

Even if I am gone

HE will raise me from the dead

To take me back to Glory

Thereby completing my part

In the age-old story.

So, when this world

Hands me disappointment

That shakes me to my core

Remembering the promise of JESUS

Helps me to put things back

In proper perspective

And I am not bothered much, anymore.©
