Do You Not Know Have You Not Heard

Have you ever thought in your heart that it was about time for you to be given a break from enemies, trials, etc.? You know, we get to having a pity party in thinking about the things that we have taken and continue to take, just because we are trying to live for GOD. And yes, sometimes we even think that GOD is not even looking at what we are putting up with because of our love for HIM. Most of us have, at one point or another, had similar thoughts. But my reading in Isaiah 40 put everything in a brighter light for me this morning, and I stand more than ever on, "Ultimately." To see why I say this, look at the scripture written below:

Isaiah 40:27-31 New King James Version (NKJV)

²⁷ Why do you say, O Jacob,
And speak, O Israel:
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
And my just claim is passed over by my God”? (I put part of this verse in bold because I wanted to put emphasis on it. So, no more thinking, "God does even know what is going on in my life nor what I have done to serve HIM.")
²⁸ Have you not known?(But, look at GOD's answer to such thoughts.)
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
²⁹ He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
³⁰ Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
³¹ But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

When the storms have tired you out to the point that you become listless, weak, and lose some of that fiery determination that perhaps you have become known for, then you are pliable enough for your new molding. Now, look at GOD move through the reading of the scriptures listed below:

Isaiah 40:21-23 New King James Version (NKJV)

²¹ Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? (Don't lean on your own understanding. He has it all under scrutiny, and can elevate and abase whom HE will. You will see the beauty of these words when you read verse 23.)
²² It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
²³ He brings the princes to nothing;
He makes the judges of the earth useless.

Before your storm, you thought

You were standing tall

But when some props were moved, you stumbled

And some of your haters looked to see you fall

But, that was when, by GOD's grace

You were allowed to take off and soar

To heights, you had not known before!

Often, after a cataclysmic storm

You can run unencumbered

Because you have come into

The purposeful plan that

GOD ordained for you

Before you were born.

You lost something that was

Precious to you

But, with that loss, you have

Been made to look to the skies

And churn your perseverance motor

Built by GOD to allow you to rise.

And you will be like Isaiah

Says in Chapter 40, verse 9

Moving on, over valley and dell

Because you are powered by new strength

Given to you by GOD Divine.©

Yes, you will reflect upon all that has happened and work even harder because you don't know when you have reached your last year, month, week, or day of life, and you want to be ready for the blessed gathering that is spoken of in the verses below:

Isaiah 40:10-11 New King James Version (NKJV)

¹⁰ Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand,
And His arm shall rule for Him;
Behold, His reward is with Him,
And His work before Him.
¹¹ He will feed His flock like a shepherd;
He will gather the lambs with His arm,
And carry them in His bosom,
And gently lead those who are with young. (We will be gathered back with power, love and tenderness. Oh, how wonderful it will be! That will be enough for me.)
