Face Plastered

All who finish the race will be awarded a crown.

My face is plastered with a perpetual grin

"Why," you ask; well, because my FATHER

Has enveloped me in HIS presence again.

Oh, you still don't get what I am saying

I am telling you that the storm is over

And the rainbow is out and the sun

Is shining in my life again.

I can tell the world with a great big smile

That the LORD GOD will be a shield for you

If you keep yourself as HIS faithful child

And HE will give you help that is glorious

As well as assure that, in your race

You will be victorious.

So, this smile that you see plastered on my face

Is my soul's way of exclaiming about GOD's lovingkindness

And HIS amazing grace.©
