My Time Down Here

The sun rises and the sun sets

A generation goes and a generation comes

The sun rises and the sun sets

No matter what a man does or gets.

The wind continues on its appointed circular route

Sometimes north and sometimes south

And the world's rivers continue their flow

From their headwaters to empty out at their mouths.

Earth systems set in motion before the cradle

Will continue past generations' graves

Because it is Almighty GOD WHO put and

Keeps said systems in motion

And they will continue to function until

GOD says, "It is enough; let the judgment begin"

And before HIM will stand generations of men

To be judged for the lives they lived

As to their abstinence or adherence to sin.

And so, during your time down here

Though you are at times, beset by trouble, turmoil, and pain

Just remember, despite all of their viciousness, they

Will, according to GOD's law, go away

Because their season will be over and jkoy will rush in

Bringing with it, all of its sunshiny rays

To dry your tears and gladden your days

And don't forget to use the lessons you learned through your stay

To teach your loved ones how to behave

And remain faithful to GOD as you continue

Your sojourn from your cradle to your grave.©
