It Is Well

 

Though I didn’t know how things were going to be

I’ve always gone wherever GOD led me

No, I have not always known the outcome of things

But, I’ve walked with the assurance

That faith in GOD brings.

 

HE has given me confidence and

I have proclaimed

To the world that I walk and work

In HIS glorious name.

 

And as I have said many times before

When my days of proclaiming

HIS goodness are o’er

I will walk in peace on that other shore

But until then, I can say,

“It is well with my soul,”

...I reach for that heavenly goal.©
