A Story Worth

Yesterday, we talked about the effect that having been saved by GOD has on your future trust in HIM. We all know that this pandemic is something that we have never seen in our lifetime, and as said before, is one for the history books.
Yes, for the secular history books, but what about the genetic DNA history books. "Say what?" somebody just thought. This pandemic is one that will be talked about for generations, probably more than the 1918-20 flu pandemic because of the sheer number of lives lost and the fact that we had to go into our houses, stop most work, mass burials and all of the rest.

But, you know folks, the one thing that kept us going is the belief that we are, for the most part, a GOD-fearing nation. We know how the LORD allowed us to become a nation and allowed us to become great, and we trust in HIM to carry us on. We know what our fore-parents told us about GOD and HIS lovingkindness, and we know what we have experienced ourselves at HIS hands.

We Must

What we must do is talk about GOD's lovingkindness toward us (giving HIM  praise and honor) so that our children can hear us and talk about it to such a degree that they will talk about it among themselves and eventually pass it on to their offspring when this pandemic is over, and life goes back to a semblance of normalcy again.

A Story Worth Telling

Yes, indeed, we have a story to tell

About the virus that took the world by storm

And changed what we had come

To accept as our norm.

We learned to hunker down inside

Of our homes and wear masks

When we did venture outside

While teaching and showing our children

About our faith in ALMIGHTY GOD, WHO

Hung the moon, set the stars, started time, and

Created this place that we call our homeland.

Yes, we have to create in our children's DNA

Memories that will carry them forth one day

When we walk these shore no more

And awful trouble visits them causing dismay

And it turns their lives into disarray

That they can turn to their children and say

"Fret not, little ones; GOD has us in HIS care

Let me tell you about Covid-19, pull up a chair..."

When this episode is over, and the virus is done

We have a story to tell about our GOD

WHO is number 1!©
