How Many Times

Peace to you in these troubled times! We are living in times, the magnitude of which every generation does not get visited by.

Hatred slowly reared its ever-present and ugly head

Deciding not to be clandestine anymore

Then Covid-19, along with its sidekick, joblessness

Without knocking, entered our Country's door

And hatred, not to be outdone, decided

To a bolder statement make

And one of GOD's children's life to take

Which resulted in rioting and looting in the streets

All of which had praying folks scratching their heads

And thinking, "LORD help us, what's next?"

When up rose a brother's voice that spoke

Through pain and heartache

Stop Y'all; what you are doing is not the right way

Because our family is a GOD-fearing family

At the end of the day

And the ever vigilant prayer warriors continued to pray

And read verses like Proverbs 18:10 that say

Proverbs 18:10 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

¹⁰ The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous runs into it and is [a]safe.

And the Land's Christians continued to pray

For they knew...©
