It's All Over

I imagine that is what the Israelites felt like saying when their time down in Egypt came to an end when they were delivered from bondage and saved from sure death by the blood that the Lord had instructed them to place over their doorposts. Because of their obedience to the command, they were saved from death. That is something to think about, isn't it? Just think, saved by the mark of the blood, wow! The W.O.W. (WORKER OF WONDERS) did it again.

Why Did He Save Them?

He saved them because He had taken them as His own. That is saying quite a bit. No, it actually says it all. Here's the thing. They were His children and He is faithful. All they had to do was place the blood over the doorpost and stay in the house. Sound familiar?

It Should

It should sound familiar because we have been taken as His own if we have become His child by putting on the blood of His Son, Jesus. Where am I going with this? It is simple, really. If you have been baptized in the blood of Jesus, all you need to do is stay in the "house." Remain faithful to Him and do as you are told. Then one day you can say, "It's all over."

In Conclusion

  • If you have trouble - doesn't matter

  • if you have some sickness - doesn't matter

  • if you have financial trouble - doesn't matter

  • if you have a negative whatever - it just doesn't matter. You stay with Jesus and one day you will be able to smile and sing, "It's all over."
